CRUELTY DIVISION

With a cruel cut of the knife, you gawk at your own death realising your soul has no value whatsoever.
Cruelty Division will not let you breathe the air that you so longed for.

Cruelty Division is a unit of 5 beings bent on devastating your belief on what metal is all about.
These 5 beings are :

Djin - throats and screams
Chor - guitars
Jadam - guitars
Kayrul Mutilator - bass
Ayen DC - Drums

Currently refining materials for the release of their 1st EP,
Cruelty Division swift form of kill in their music is cruel
and merciless while never unabiding to rules and regulations.
5 songs are selected to cut your throats including a rendition
of a much unknown Sudirman song entitled 'Planet Gringragong'
about extra terrestrial beings killing humans due to their warring nature
and abducting children.
This Ep will be released under the Metamorphic Rocks! banner in the 1st half
of 2012.

Another long hiatus.

It's been a long while since i last published anything here.
Was i too busy? probably. but i'm definitely a procrastinator. i'm making it easy to figure out why there's such a long gap in publishing any blogs in this..err..blogspot.
I just got back from Ipoh. Yup, my hometown, to play a gig with my new band, Cruelty Division.
It's the band's first gig and it came out great, well at least from my point of view. I think finally the line up is tight enough to give a tight performance. The crowd was ok although most of em were standing straight watching the whole performance trying to figure out what exactly we were playing. well, i dont blame em for that cos that's the 1st time most of em ever heard of our music.
We did get a request to play more songs after we're done with our setlist so i suppose that was a good sign that they actually received what we're actually trying to give em. There are a few flaws in the performance ie no bassist, zero communication with the crowd, but that can be overcome with more gigs that we'll play. I have to be optimistic here. By the way, this is the best line up due to the fact that they are all committed in what they're doing and have lots of ideas to share.

I just wanna do what i love most.

Yeah, so easy to say but not so easy to do. Sometimes saying those words can give me the shivers.
Consider me as someone who is deprived. Yes, i admit, i'm deprived. I love music. No. Not in the 'ooh ahh' sense. It's life. It's who I am. Yeah. Music.
Then you may ask, why are'nt you famous? Haven't seen you on tv, or something like that. So i suppose the ultimate goal in music is to be famous and to be on tv? Maybe. For some.
I'm sure there are people who share the same thoughts about music with me, just to say, i cant be the only one (definitely).
So what is music to me? Freedom. Something so significant to me that i really believe, yes, i do, that it is what defines me. I'm aware of how horrid and foul the definition may go, or went, but this is it. This is my reality.
Back to my deprivation. What exactly am i deprived of? The ability to define and be defined through music.
